Kenwood was first established in 1947 by the entrepreneur Kenneth Wood. Over fifty years later, it is now a public limited company and a well-known household name. Over 75% of its products are exported and sold through numerous Kenwood subsidiaries and a wide distributor network in over 80 countries.
Kenwood has wholly owned manufacturing facilities in the UK, Italy and China. Its headquarters is located in Havant, Hampshire, UK and it manages its Far East operations from a permanent base in Hong Kong.
Investment in research and design has developed a wide range of kitchen appliances which lead many European market sectors. Kenwood is the leading brand within the "food preparation" market and is fast establishing itself within the "kitchen essential" sectors.
